We will use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your data for example;
- Access to your account is controlled by a user name and password that is unique to you, together with compulsory 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) providing banking level security;
- All data is encrypted at rest and only accessible to the logged in user;
- Payment details are handled by trusted third parties under contract to ZVW;
- All traffic sent over the public internet is secured with HTTPS using TLS 1.2 and above;
- All data is held on servers in data centres in Switzerland managed by Swisscom.

Transferring data to Data Processing Partners / Third Party Services
We will disclose the data we collect from you to certain third parties who use personal data in delivering their services to us, they use data securely and confidentially and under strict contractual controls in accordance with Swiss data protection laws and enforced by ZVW.
We send personal data to the following sets of data processors in order to perform the ZVW Services:
- Fraud prevention agencies;
- This is in order to verify your identity, protect against fraud, comply with anti-money and financial crime laundering laws and to confirm your eligibility to use our products and services. Please note that if fraud is detected, you could be refused certain services. - Cloud storage providers;
- This is in order to safely and securely store your data with ZVW.
- Banking and financial services partners;
- Financial services providers that help us provide ZVW services including banking partners, banking intermediaries and international payments services providers.
- Credit reference agencies;
- For the purpose of assessing your credit score.
We may also disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:
- If ZVW or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets;

Transferring data outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area

How long do we keep your data?
We will only hold your data on our systems for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes in this privacy policy or until you request that the data is deleted.

Upon request, as a client or prospective client of ZVW we will provide you with confirmation about whether we hold any of your personal information and you have the right to request copies of this information.

You have the right to request that we modify, update or delete information held at any time. Where legally permitted to do so, ZVW may refuse your request, however we will tell you the reasons why.
